For the past 25 years, the name Mario Godbout has been associated with the most prestigious graphic design projects and communication campaigns in the region. Within Mario Godbout Design (MGD) now MGD Branding + Design, which he founded in Gatineau in 1994, he offers as president, art director and project manager, an excellent bilingual service to a diversified clientele located in the National Capital Region. This clientele covers three main sectors of activity: arts and culture, private and organizations, and public.

Mario Godbout has won awards in the most prestigious graphic design competitions in North America. He was awarded, among others, three prizes in the design annuals of Communications Arts, which is the largest competition of its kind in North America, with more than 25,000 entries per year. He is the only art director in the region to have won this award three times. Some of his creations have been published in graphic design books in Canada, Germany, the United States and Japan, as well as in the most important international design trade magazines like Communication Arts, Graphis, How, Print and Applied Arts. Mario Godbout is a member of two professional associations; the Association of Registered Graphic Designers (RGD), since 1996, and the Type Directors Club of New York, since 1997.
